The company now provides public drinking water and wastewater services to approximately 255,000 residents in 42 counties throughout North Carolina and has an established reputation for providing its customers with a quality, plentiful water supply.

Aqua America is the nation’s largest U.S-based, publicly-traded water utility, providing water and wastewater services to approximately three million residents in 13 states. Aqua America's common shares are traded on both the New York and Philadelphia Stock Exchanges under the ticker symbol WTR.
